Privacy statement
1. Who I am
Ruud Juffermans, data engineer, based in Noord-Holland, Netherlands. This is my personal portfolio site. Email: ruudjuffermans@pm.me.
2. What data I collect
Via the contact form: name, email address, optional company name and your message. Via the newsletter: email address. I use privacy-friendly analytics (no cookies, no personal data).
3. Why I collect this data
To answer your message and contact you. To send the newsletter you signed up for. To improve the website based on anonymized usage statistics.
4. How long I keep data
Contact-form data is kept as long as needed to handle your message, up to a maximum of 12 months. Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe.
5. Sharing with third parties
I don't share your data with third parties, except where needed to run the site: Proton (email sending) and Buttondown (newsletter). These processors operate under data-processing agreements.
6. Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, delete and transfer your data. You can also object to processing. Contact ruudjuffermans@pm.me for any of these. You can also file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority.
7. Cookies
This website doesn't use tracking cookies. No cookie banner is needed.
8. Changes
This privacy statement may be updated. The latest version is always available on this page.
